CHOCOLATE CHERRY TRIFLE (a twist on the British dessert)

½ Angel Food Cake (store bought is fine)         

1 (3 oz) box instant Chocolate Pudding        

Powdered Sugar

1 (16 oz) can pitted, dark Cherries                 

1 Banana                                                     

Vanilla

1 (3 oz) box Black Cherry Jello                      

1 cup Whipping Cream                                 

Milk Chocolate Bar, grated

*Cube angel food cake and put in the bottom of a trifle bowl.  Add pitted, dark cherries, drained  (save liquid).

*Make up black cherry Jello according to package directions, but use juice from canned cherries as part of the liquid.  Pour over cake and cherries.  Refrigerate until Jello is set.

*Slice banana over Jello.  Mix up instant chocolate pudding according to package directions and spread over Jello and sliced bananas.  Whip the cream and sweeten with powdered sugar and vanilla.  Spread on chocolate pudding/banana layer.  Decorate with grated milk chocolate.
