Last Minute Rolls – Cindy Leishman

¼ c. butter softened

2 pkg. yeast (dissolved in ½ c. warm water and a pinch of sugar, add yeast to mixture when bubbly)

1 c. warm water

1 c. evaporated milk

2 ½ T. sugar

1 ½ tsp. salt

@ 4 cups of white flour

Mix ingredients in bread mixer. Slowly add flour while mixing.  Stop adding flour when dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Mix or knead for 10 minutes.  Cover and let rise ½ hour. Form dough into rolls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Cover and let rise for 10 minutes.  Cook at 400 degrees for @ 12 minutes. Makes about 20 rolls.
