Green Chile Chicken Soup

4 c. chicken broth

3 c. cooked and chopped chicken

1 (16 oz) bag of frozen corn

½ tsp. cumin

1 tsp. minced garlic

2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules

1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies

1 c. cream

1 tsp. salt

¼ tsp. pepper

 

If making it fresh: In big pot combine all of the ingredients, simmer 15 minutes. Serve with sour cream, salsa, cilantro and tortilla chips

 

If making it to freeze: In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Place in a freezer bag or container, label and freeze. (6 servings)

 

To Cook from Frozen: Thaw, (you can set out the day before, or put it in a sink of hot water to thaw) Heat until boiling. Serve with sour cream, salsa, cilantro and tortilla chips.
