Place pineapple rings on top of butter-sugar mixture and put cherries inthe middle of the pineapple rings. Pour the prepared cake batter over the top. Cook with 7-8 coals on the bottom and 16-18 coals on top. Cook for 45 minutes or until cake tests done.
