Heat up your Dutch oven (lots of hot coals under the pot bottom)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">2. Add a little oil (1\/2 c olive, vegetable, crisco as preferred)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">3. Add floured chicken (5-12 pieces that will cover the pot bottom without overlay)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">4. salt and pepper to taste, garlic powder (the more the better) and cook side 1 of chicken<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">5. Turn over chicken, season, add carrots, onions, and potatoes to fill pot<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">6. Add 1\/2 c water<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">7. Stir chicken off the bottom after chicken is mostly done on side 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">8. Stir pot bottom one or two more times to keep from burning bottom<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">9.
