Grandma Pedersen’s Famous Shortbread Cookies – Susie

½ lb butter ( 2 cubes )

½ cup sugar + 1tbsp

2 cups flour

Pinch of salt

Mix by hand and cream all together well – easier to roll if chilled.

Roll between two pieces of wax paper – use cookie cutter of choice.

Bake at 325 degrees 20 to 25 minutes to light golden brown.

(The hand mixing is the secret! Grandma was the best)
