4 to 5 quarts Water              1 Lemon Wedge

¼ tsp. Sugar                         6 ears Corn, husked and rinsed


Add sugar to water.  Squeeze juice from lemon wedge into water and drop in wedge.  Bring water to boil and add corn.  Boil 8 to 10 minutes, depending on kernel size.  Never, ever put salt into boiling water — it will toughen your corn!
