Honey Taffy

1 c. honey                                                1 T. cream or evaporated milk

1 c. sugar

 

Stir until boiling.  Cook to 290˚.  Pour onto chilled, buttered slab.  Fold in outside edges to center.  Stretch as soon as it is cool enough to handle.  Continue stretching until candy becomes lighter in color, stiff and difficult to stretch.  Pull into a rope, cut into pieces and wrap.
