Creamy Chicken Soup – Relief Society Bulletin
1 small chicken or fryer parts
1 c. celery, chopped
¼ c. green onion, chopped
½ c. carrots, sliced thin
3 c. broccoli, chopped
1 potato, cubed
4 cubes, chicken boullion
pinch of: poulty seasoning, celery salt, pepper
1 c. milk
1 ½ c. finely grated cheddar cheese
1 ½ c. vermicelli noodles
Boil chicken until done. Chop meat, discarding bons and skin. Put meat back into broth; add vegetabgles, bouillion and seasonings. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours. Before serving, add milk, cheese, and noodles. Simmer on low for 20 minutes, stirring constantly. 10-12 servings.
