Pink Popcorn Balls

1 c. light corn syrup

½ c. sugar

3 oz. cherry-flavored jello

10 cups popped popcorn

 Combine corn syrup and sugar in a heavy pan. Cover with lid and heat to boiling. Remove from heat and add jello. Stir until dissolved. Place popcorn in a large buttered bowl. Pour syrup over the popcorn and stir until all kernals are coated with the syrup. Shape into balls, using rubber gloves to protect hands from heat.
