Rice-A-Roni Chicken Salad – Nycola Anderson

1 pkg. chicken flavored Rice-A-Roni. Cook as directed and cool.

Ina skillet add oil and cook 3 large chicken breasts seasoned with garlic salt and pepper until tender. Shred and cool.

To the rice and chicken add:

1 large tomato diced

3 stalks celery diced

1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained and rinsed

Stir in enough mayonnaise that has been flavored with garlic powder and seasoning salt to taste to moisten the above ingredients. Top with 1 c. cashews.
