Farm Style Oatmeal Cookies – Lizzy Snyder

2 c. brown sugar

2 cubes margarine

1 t. vanilla

1 c. mile with 1 T. vinegar

1 ¾ c. flour

1 t. baking soda

¾ tsp. salt

4 c. quick cooking oats

1 c. chocolate chips (optional)

¾ c. chopped nuts (optional)

 

Cream together sugar, margarine, vanilla, and milk with vinegar. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Then add oats, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 for 8-10 minutes.

*Note: This is a great recipe to use when you are all out of eggs.
