Fettucini Alfredo – Relief Society Bulletin

1 ½ c. fresh grated parmesan cheese

1 ½ c. heavy cream

½ c. butter

2 egg yolks

1 lb. fettucini noodles

 

Heat cream in sauce pan just beginning to simmer, stir in 1 c. grated cheese, continue stirring over low heat for 10 min.  Add small amount of butter at a time- remove from heat and stir a little bit in beaten egg yolk then mix all sauce together. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garlic salt. Put 1 tsp. of vegetable oil in water to boil noodles with some salt. Drain water, top fettucini with sauce, parsley and extra parmesan cheese.
