Best Ever Chicken Casserole – Debbie

6   boneless chicken breasts

2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

2 cans cream of chicken soup (or 1 each of cream of chicken and cream of mushroom)

1 pkg Stove Top stuffing, crushed into smaller pieces

¾ cup butter

 

 

Boil or microwave chicken until cooked. Season chicken with your favorite seasoning. Cut into bite-sized pieces and spread in 9×13 pan. Sprinkle cheese over chicken, then spread and cover with soup straight from the can, followed by stuffing. Drizzle melted butter over top. (may want to also add ¼ to ½ cup water) You can also add other garnishes such as olives or crumbled bacon before topping with the stuffing. Bake covered at 325* for 30 minutes.
