Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
1/2 cube of butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
12-16 pineapple slices
12-16 maraschino cherry halves
1 cake mix, prepared, following recipe
Directions:
In 12″ oven (line with foil if preferred) heat butter and brown sugar in bottom until melted and well mixed. Place pineapple rings on top of butter-sugar mixture and put cherries inthe middle of the pineapple rings. Pour the prepared cake batter over the top. Cook with 7-8 coals on the bottom and 16-18 coals on top. Cook for 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Turn upside-down to serve.
