Broccoli- Cheese Soup – Jacque Gardner

1 1/2 lbs. fresh broccoli -cooked

1/4 c. onion -chopped

Combine and cook

2 c. chicken broth

1 tsp. salt

3 T. butter

3 T. flour

2 c. light cream

1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Add to flour mixture and heat until thick. Add broccoli.

1 c. grated sharp cheddar – Add just before serving
