TERRIFIC THANKSGIVING TURKEY (Moist, Mouth-watering , FAST and EASY!!!)

One Thawed Whole Turkey  (18-23 lbs.)                     2 Lemons  (sliced with peel)

2 to 3 stalks Celery  (cut in pieces)                             1 Orange  (sliced with peel)

1 Onion  (cut in wedges)                                              1 pkg. Fresh Sage

1 T. Flour                                                                   Poultry Seasoning

Olive Oil                                                                    1 Cooking Bag  (Reynolds Turkey Size)

Begin thawing turkey 1 to 2 days in advance.  (Make sure it stays cool.)

Remove “body part bags” from neck and rear cavities.  Rinse turkey.

Place cooking bag in aluminum (disposable) roasting pan (or other roasting pan).  Add flour, celery, and onion to bag.

Place turkey inside bag on top of celery/onion.  Stuff turkey cavity with lemon slices, orange slices, and sage.

Rub top of turkey with olive oil, and sprinkle with poultry seasoning.

Tie bag with plastic twister (included with bag).  Poke 6  (1 inch) slits in top of bag for steam to escape.

Bake on lower oven rack at 350*.   For a 20 lb. turkey,  bake 4 hrs.  (There is a weight/time/baking guide inside the cooking bag box.)  Follow the guide, and your turkey will be moist, flavorful from the citrus and sage, golden brown and well done.  (Using the cooking bag keeps the meat from being dry, and also cooks it much faster.)

(*NOTE: Stuffing can be made and served on the side.)                            ABSOLUTELY  DELICIOUS!!!
