GRANDMA’S CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP (great with grilled cheese sandwiches)

2 (28 oz) cans Hunts Whole Tomatoes (with juice)                                                                          

¾ cup Hot Water                                 4 T. Butter                          2 ½ cups Milk

Salt and Sugar (to taste)                      4 T. Flour                            1 tsp. Baking Soda

In large pot, bring tomatoes to boil (chop into small pieces), and add water, sugar & salt. In separate medium pot, melt butter, and add flour, mixing well, then add milk gradually, stirring constantly.  Bring to boil to make thick gravy.  Add baking soda to boiling tomatoes, then gravy mixture.  Blend well.  ENJOY!
