Mamasue’s Bread Sticks – Holly Sue Betteridge
Rhodes Rolls, Butter, Grated Parmesan Cheese, Parsley Flakes
Place frozen rolls on cookie sheet and let those babies rise. Place plastic wrap on top of them while they rise so they won’t get crusty.
Melt butter (lots), then add Parmesan cheese until it is a grainy consistency; add a T. or so of parsley flakes. Now listen carefully:
TAKE BREAD DOUGH AND FORM INTO A SNAKE AND THEN MAKE EACH ‘SNAKE’ INTO A KNOT AND ROLL EACH ONE INTO THE BUTTER MIXTURE. That’s right I did say roll in the butter. Do not dab a little on or brush lightly. The only thing about my bread sticks is I DRENCH each one in the mixture (oh my! Thus the horrible calories!)
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
