Glazed Sweet Potatoes- Relief Society Bulletin

Makes 10 servings, slow cooker

 

10 medium-( sized 6 1/3 oz. each) sweet potatoes

¼ c. light, soft tub margarine, melted

½ c. orange juice

1/3 c. pecans (optional)

2 T. brown sugar

½ tsp. salt

1 T. sugar

Cook sweet potatoes until just soft. Peel and cut in half

Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over potatoes

Cover. Cook on high 2 ½ hours, or until tender but not mushy.
