Cranberry Muffin Dessert – Relief Society Bulletin

Muffins:

Combine ½ c. sugar, 1 cup flour  ½ tsp. salt, 1 egg 1 ½ T. baking powder, ½ cup evaporated milk.

 

Gently stir in 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries. Fill muffin tins ¾ full.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

 

Sauce:

Combine and bring to a boil 1 stick of butter, 1 pint of heavy cream, 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour hot sauce over muffins and serve.
