Apple Pie – Relief Society Bulletin

6-8 tart large apples peeled and cored and sliced

1 T. flour

¾ tsp. ground cinnamon

2/3 c. sugar

2 T. lemon juice

 

Mix and pour over apples. Turn into unbaked pie shell.

 

Topping:

½ c. flour

½ c. sugar

½ c. butter

Cut together until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.

 

Bake 400 degrees 45-50 minutes or until done. If crust browns too quickly, cover with foil.
