Miracle Green Salad – Relief Society Bulletin

1 small head lettuce

1 c. celery diced

½ c. green onions, diced

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed

1 (6 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained

½ c. mayonnaise

1-1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese

¼ c. crumbled, cooked bacon

 

Break lettuce into pieces. Line bottom of round serving dish. Layer celery, green onios, peas and water chestnuts. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and sour cream. Spread over vegetables. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and bacon on top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Serves 6-8.
