Spicy Lime Marinade for Meat – Sue Johnson

1 c. fresh lime juice

½ c. olive oil

2 T. diced onion

2 T. chopped cilantro

1 tsp. minced garlic

2 tsp. dried oregano leaves

2 tsp. salt

2 tsp. black pepper

1 tsp. red pepper flakes

 

Combine all ingredients and whisk together until well blended. Use as a marinade for poultry, steak, or vegetables. Marinate 30 minutes to 2 hours.
