Christmas Carmel Popcorn – Cindy Leishman

1 cube butter

3 c. brown sugar

1 c. karo corn syrup

1 can sweeten condensed milk

 

Heat butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir well. Add corn syrup and cook to a softball stage. (You can drip a little of the mixture into a cup of ice water. If it forms into a ball, it’s ready). Add sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly over heat.

 

Pop a huge bowl of popcorn that has had the extra kernels removed. Pour carmel over popcorn and mix. Deliver popcorn balls to your neighbors!
