Skillet Beef and Broccoli – Relief Society Bulletin

In 12” non-stick skillet, brown:

          1 lb. Sirloin Steak (cut in 1” strips, and browning ½ at a time) with

          1 T. Olive Oil

 

Remove steak from skillet.  Set aside.  Then put the following in skillet:

          1 (10 oz.) pkg. FROZEN Broccoli Florettes (thawed)

          1 envelope Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix

          1 ¼ cup Water

          1 T. Brown Sugar

          1 T. Soy Sauce

 

Bring to boil over high heat.  Reduce to low heat.  Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 2 min.

Return steak to skillet.  Cook 1 min. till steak is heated through.
