Halloween Sugar Cookies – Camillia Leishman
1 ½ sifted powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. almond flavoring
2 ½ flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Cream sugar and butter. Mix in egg and flavoring. Blend dry ingredients together. Stir in. Refrigerate fosr 2-3 hours. Heat overn to 375. Divide dough in half and roll out on floured surface. Cut with halloween shaped cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7-8 minutes. Makes 3 dozen cookes. Cool. Then frost and add candies to give character. (Use chocolate chips and corn candies).
