CHEESE AND CHIVE BREAD – Claudia Borden
1 loaf French or Italian bread
1 stick butter
½ c. grated parmesan cheese
2 Tbl. chopped chives
Slice the loaf, almost through to the bottom, into ¾ in. diagonal slices. Mix the butter, cheese and chives together and spread on one side of each slice. Wrap the loaf in foil and heat through in the oven till completely melted and toasty.
