Homemade Mac and Cheese – Debbie
1 lb. Macaroni pkg.
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons Flour
1-2 lbs grated cheese of your choice
Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain and rinse. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Sprinkle flour into butter and stir while cooking for 2 minutes. Add warmed milk to butter/flour, stirring vigorously to mix. Cook sauce until thickened. Remove from heat and add cheese, stirring until melted. Fold cheese sauce into macaroni. Serve immediately or pour into baking dish and heat in 350* oven, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until heated through.
