Chicken Pot Dinner
1/2 c olive oil, vegetable oil or crisco
5-12 pieces of chicken
1/2 c water
1 c flour
1 pound baby carrots
1-2 large onions
5-10 large potatoes
Directions:
1. Heat up your Dutch oven (lots of hot coals under the pot bottom)
2. Add a little oil (1/2 c olive, vegetable, crisco as preferred)
3. Add floured chicken (5-12 pieces that will cover the pot bottom without overlay)
4. salt and pepper to taste, garlic powder (the more the better) and cook side 1 of chicken
5. Turn over chicken, season, add carrots, onions, and potatoes to fill pot
6. Add 1/2 c water
7. Stir chicken off the bottom after chicken is mostly done on side 2
8. Stir pot bottom one or two more times to keep from burning bottom
9. Serve hot and enjoy!
