CARMEL DELIGHTS – Luanne Pederson
2 ½ cups Flour 2 ½ cups Butter (melted)
2 ½ cups Oatmeal 1 (14 oz) bag of cubed Caramels
2 ½ cups Brown Sugar ½ cup Cream or Milk
½ tsp. Salt 2 cups Chocolate Chips
3/4 tsp. Baking Soda Nuts and Coconut (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all dry ingredients together, add melted butter. Stir. Line 9 x 13 pan with half of the mixture and reserve the rest. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove and sprinkle chocolate chips over all.
In separate bowl, melt caramels and cream. Pour caramel over chocolate chips. Crumble the second half of the oatmeal mixture over the top of everything. Then top with as many nuts and as much coconut as desired.
Bake for another 15 minutes. Cool, cut and serve. ENJOY!!
