Fruit Pie Filling – Relief Society Bulletin

3 c. sliced or diced fruit (peaches, raspberries, rhubarb, etc.)

1  2/3 c. sugar

½ c. cream

1 beaten egg

3 T. tapioca

 

Mix sugar, egg, cream, and tapioca.  Add fruit.  Pour into 9” piecrust.  Add top crust.  Bush crust with cream and sprinkle with sugar.  Make steam slits.  Bake

at 350° for 45 min. or until browned.
