Peach Ice Cream – Sally Viehweg

1 egg

1 c. milk

1 c. heavy cream

1/2 t. salt

1 ¾ c. sugar

4 c. peach puree (sweetened to taste)

1 tsp. vanilla

 

Add sugar gradually to beaten eggs. Continue to beat until mixture is very stiff. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into gallon freezer and freeze as directed.
