Aunt Michelle’s Lasagna (Spaghetti Sauce) –Cindy Leishman

Saute ½ c. chopped onion, 1 clove garlic and 1 lb. hamburger

 

Add:     2-  8 oz. cans tomatoe sauce

            1- 6 oz. can tomatoe paste

            1 c. water

            ½ tsp. basil

            2 T. minced parsley

            ½ t. pepper

            mushrooms and green peppers

            2 tsp. salt

            ¼ tsp. oregano

            garlic powder

 

Simmer at least 1 hour, brown 1 lb. hamburger and add sauce the last ½ hour. Cook noodles and lay flat in casserole dish. Top with layer of sauce and add mozarella with romano (cottage cheese or ricotta and 1 egg). Make 3 layers.
