Orange Glazed Carrots – Relief Society Bulletin

6-8 fresh carrots

¼ butter

¼ c. sugar

1 T. flour

Juice of 2 oranges or 2/3 c. orange slices.

Peel carrots and cut-up in long slices.

Cook covered in boiling salted water.

Place cooked carrots in a shallow dish.

Melt butter, sugar and flour.

Add orange juice.

Cook until it begins to bubble stirring constantly.

Pour liquid over carrots and bake 350 for 30 minutes.
