Buttermilk Syrup – Cindy Leishman

½ c. sugar

¾ c. buttermilk

½ c. butter

2 T. corn syrup

1 tsp. baking soda

2 tsp. vanilla extract

Confectioners sugar

 

In a saucepan, combine the first five ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 7 minutes. Remove the heat; stir in vanilla. Dust pancake with confectioners sugar. Serve immediately with syrup. Yields about 2 cups of syrup.
