Banana Nut Bread – Lauren Hall
1 ¾ c. flour
1 ¼ t. baking powder
½ t. baking soda
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
¼ c. chopped nuts
¾ t. salt
Stir flour, soda, and baking powder and salt. Bead sugar and shortening, add eggs and milk. Beat until smooth. Add flour mixture and bananas a little at a time, beat until smoot. Fold in nuts. Pour in a lightly greased pan (8X4X2) Bake at 350 for 60 minutes.
