CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES – Larae Whale

Large fresh Strawberries (with stems) – rinse and air-dry on paper towels, stem side down
1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 T. Crisco Shortening
 
In double boiler, melt chips and shortening over boiling water, stirring constantly.  Cool slightly.
Dip each strawberry ½ to 2/3 up the side.  Place on wax paper till set.  Arrange on serving tray.  Refrigerate.
