Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce – Debbie McEwen
1 pint heavy cream
1 stick of real butter
3 oz cream cheese
½ to ¾ cup parmesan cheese, grated (fresh)
1 tsp garlic powder
In a crockpot, combine butter, heavy cream and cream cheese. Simmer this until all is melted and mixed well. Add parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
Simmer on low until ready to use. Simmer as long as you can to blend tastes.
When ready to serve, add some cornstarch to thick a little.
Pour over cooked fettucine noodles. Can also add grilled chicken breast.
